Happy Easter weekend to you!
I love Easter, and go all out with an Easter tree (Steve does not understand this!), Easter crafts, food planning and egg rolling. It is a time to be with family and friends. Have a bit of refresh before the next stage of the year. A look back on what you have (or haven’t) achieved so far, either is fine, and what plans you can be making for the summer.
What about you?
Do you celebrate this weekend or not?
I suppose a lot of it depends on what you did as a child. My mum loves Easter too, so the fond memories I have of Easter egg hunts and treats are all down to her. I hope my children will feel the same when they are grown up.
Easter is a bit like Christmas, just not a stressful. I feel, as mums, we can enjoy this holiday a bit more than the festive period as the pressure isn’t the same. A chocolate egg is perfectly fine.
Hard boil an egg and roll it down a hill? My favourite tradition.
I’m sending this slightly shortened email this week, because I just haven’t got the hang of work and school holidays yet, and as ever my to-do list has caught up with me. I will be better prepared for the May half term!
But I didn’t want to miss wishing you a happy Easter - I hope you enjoy a break over the bank holiday weekend, and the chocolate tastes guilt free.
Have a good one.
