Beautiful writing. I think we would have been friends as 10 year olds!

Really reminds me of that beautiful Mother Teresa quote - you’ll probably know it... “if you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” ✨❤️‍🩹✨

Love that and yes I have often thought we would have been friends at school. I too studied drama!

Love this. Every small thing we do has a profound impact but none quite so much as the impact we have on our children. Such a brilliant perspective. Xxx P.S- I think everyone has to be a shouty mum every now and then

This is just what I needed to read! If we all start within our own 4 walls and teach our children to be kind and helpful we could change the world, together! We can all do our little bit for our own family and community. I'm sorry that your teacher quashed your letter from the Queen!

Thanks Sarah, I never understood why she did that and always had the impression (even as a ten year old) that she didn't like me? Which seems unfair looking back doesn't it?

Yes, I think if every child received unconditional love, gentleness, repair when parents inevitably make mistakes, and a feeling of safety and security, the world would be a much different place.

Absolutely and of course I recognised that we are in an extremely privileged position that we are able to do just that.
